Stubble cultivation and light tillage
The new compact and trailed short disc harrow is designed for stubble cultivation and light tillage. During its development, the focus was on achieving full-surface cultivation, good mixing and reconsolidation as well as very easy handling, even with shallow soil cultivation. This short disc harrow is available in five working widths from 4.00 to 7.50 metres.
Toothed discs with a diameter of 510 mm and a spacing of 220 mm are mounted on the hydraulically foldable frame made of fine-grained steel, which is hydraulically locked (transport) or unlocked (for working position). Double taper roller bearings are used as disc shaft bearings, these are hermetically maintenance-free and have a long service life.
The special inclination and position of the discs ensure good mixing. The distance between the disc shafts and the roller follower is chosen so that the soil comes to rest before each subsequent working pass (MIXING), even at working speeds of just over 12 km/h.
Various roller followers, such as a 630 mm or 800 mm tube packer roller, 550 mm CRACKER rollers or 600 mm spring belt rollers or spring stamp rollers, ensure the appropriate reconsolidation and rapid emergence of volunteer grain. The working depth of the disc harrow can be adjusted via the standard hydraulic cylinders on the trailed implements.
A special draft line has minimised the draft requirement considerably. In this way, the economic factor was also taken into account.
