Seedbed preparation
The combination of several implements, such as levelling, harrowing and consolidating, ensures soil-friendly seedbed preparation while reducing operating costs by reducing the number of passes needed to prepare the seedable field.
The adjustable levelling bar ensures appropriate levelling, while the harrow fields loosen the soil. The working depth of the harrow fields is adjusted via a parallelogram and ensures excellent seedbed preparation.
The rollers crush the soil particles and reconsolidate the loosened soil to seed depth.
Different rollers can be used for crushing and reconsolidation - depending on the soil conditions.
If the combination is handled correctly, the top two to seven centimetres of the soil become a fine-crumbled and loose top layer above the seed horizon of the respective plant species to be sown. In the area below the seed horizon, about 10 centimetres, the soil is coarsely structured and reconsolidated for an appropriate root space.
The reconsolidation of the root space is necessary so that the soil moisture of the subsoil can also be used by the plants through the capillary effect and drying out is prevented.
The CERES -L is available in two working widths, 9 metres and 10 metres. The design of multiple working operations ensures high impact and fuel savings. The flexibility of the implement allows the seedbed preparation to be adapted to the individual crop types.
Perfect levelling, very good seedbed, easy adjustment, compact design, EBE, brake system and lighting are just some of the features that make this implement so valuable to the professional farmer.
